In early 2024, I directed my first documentary feature entitled I Hope This Helps!. The film follows me as I work with Google’s first AI chatbot, Bard, to make a film…about AI.
Bard appears throughout the project in the form that it requested: a blue, furry creature with big, expressive eyes and the voice of a British woman.
Executive produced by actor Matthew Modine and his production partner, Adam Rackoff, the film premiered at the DocLands Documentary Film Festival in May 2024 and has since won numerous festival awards for best feature documentary.
